Regarding the design, THURSO SURF Waterwalker looks great. It is available in three different versions, such as Waterwalker 120, 126 and 132. Each version corresponds to a color (orange, blue-green and white0 and a size. Today, we’ll talk about the first version that measures 10′ x 30” x 6” and weighs 24 lbs. It is designed to accommodate a wide range of riders, including beginner, intermediate and advanced paddlers alike. Also, it can be used by both kids and adults.

The only thing standing between you and this SUP is the maximum weight capacity of 260 lbs. Its all-around design makes it extremely stable in choppy waters not only in flat waters. Less but not least, we should talk about construction. It comes with a double layer finish with triple military-grade PVC coatings. The sides are reinforced with two PVC layers for added stability.

Glide performance

As compared to aluminum or fiberglass paddles, this one is made of carbon and it is by far more quality and lightweight. At just 2 lbs., it can be maneuvered with ease in the water. With a 3-piece construction, the paddle can be easily adjusted from 68’’ to 84’’. What we really like about this SUP is the fact that it can be used as a kayak.

The paddle comes with an extra blade made of nylon composite, and it can be converted to a kayak paddle. Also, there are 3 removable fins. Due to these fins, the board can be used in rough and choppy waters. For experienced riders who love high speed, the board has a central fin, specially designed for high speed and flat waters. Also, it comes with paddle holders and a rear bungee system with grab handles. Hence, if you want to lie down and relax for a couple of minutes, all you have to do is to secure the paddle with the holders.

Ease of use

There are no doubts about the ease of use of this SUP. It is lightweight, portable and extremely easy to carry in the water. Thanks to the adjustable paddle, it can be maneuvered with ease on the water. It is stable and comfortable. When you are so tired of paddling, you can lie down and rest for a couple of minutes.
